Avoiding Horse Trailer Tire Blowouts
Check your tire temperature when traveling during the summer. Tire sidewalls should not burn your hand when you touch them! If your sidewall is so hot it burns your hand, wait until you can easily touch it to continue your trip. Check all tires and if even one is too hot, wait. Travel in the evening if possible to avoid excess heat buildup.
